Summary:
Dexcom Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for ensuring payments received are allocated in a timely, accurate manner, maximizing cash collection of accounts receivables, minimizing bad debt losses and developing effective customer relationships. Maintains and monitors processes and procedures for the Accounts Receivable team. Supports efforts to continuously improve the processes and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle and support all AR activities and deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate application of cash receipts in accordance with best practices;
Perform daily credit control functions and oversight of collection activities on all past due balances;
Establish and maintain a consistent dunning process;
Resolve customer inquiries regarding invoicing and payment as well as develops solutions to improve the customer experience;
Reviewing account statements and making sure that all transactions have been processed correctly;
Performing accounts reconciliations and postings;
Processing refunds and manual payments;
Work closely with external Debt Collection partners and monitor their output and performance;
Work in an international environment liaising with EMEA teams to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and maximize the customer experience;
Participate in special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
2+ years experience of working in an Accounts Receivable and/ or Collection role;
Proficient working in MS Office Suite; advanced Excel skills needed;
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills;
Proficient verbal/written communication in English language;
Self-disciplined with experience of maintaining accurate documentation and following procedures;
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; Acute attention to detail;
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment as company continues to grow.
