Summary

As an Accounts Payable Specialist at Dexcom, you will be responsible for maintaining accounts payable records, receiving and processing invoices, proactive communication with vendors, participating in monthly closure process.



Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintaining Vendor Master data: checking vendor data and validity with Compliance; registering / updating vendor data to accounting system;

  • Maintaining accounts payable records: receiving and processing invoices;

  • Performing month-end and weekly tasks;

  • Active communication with outside customers and stakeholders;

  • Following established procedures on other routine work;

  • Updating process notes.


Required Qualifications

  • Self-motivated, pro-active, organized and able to work within a team and independently;

  • Knowledge of accounts payable principles;

  • Experience in similar role or GBS;

  • Knowledge in accounting software (Oracle or another ERP system) would be an advantage;

  • Keen attention to detail, ability to quickly learn systems;

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proficient verbal / written communication in English (German language would be considered as an advantage);

  • Able to maintain a positive attitude and work in a fast paced/growing company.
