Unpaid internship

March 31, 2026

Valid until:

Internship topic: Use of GIS technologies for environmental data analysis and visualization

Internship description: Geographic information systems (GIS) are a powerful tool for spatial and statistical analysis of environmental data. They allow for the integration, processing, and interpretation of spatial data, enabling the creation of maps, modeling of environmental changes, and data-driven decision-making. GIS technologies have a wide range of applications, from water resource management to air pollution monitoring and social phenomenon research. Visualization based on GIS technologies helps to understand complex data more easily and apply it more effectively in environmental planning. Therefore, during the internship, various spatial environmental data will be analyzed, focusing on the student's specialization and area of interest, so that the internship provides as much value as possible in preparing coursework and final projects.

Internships are open to: bachelor's and master's students

Student's field of study: mathematics, applied mathematics, computer science, physical geography, environmental science, environmental engineering

Employment: Employment decisions are made on an individual basis.
